New Static Pages

Garvin am um :

Actually they will be part of this nights updated Spartacus run. You can also fetch it from here: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=75065

Apart from that, more information can be found on www.s9y.org.

Hi Garvin,

I was just wondering : is there some difficulty to upgrade te statig page plugin to the current version ? How should I proceed ?

Thanks ! Jr Prod

Btw, this blog is a great idea. I learn a lot of things, because it's easier to follow than the messages in the forum. Thanks for that !

Garvin am um :

The update should go smoothly: Just install the new plugin and visit your usual blog URL. The first call will migrate your existing static pages into the new structure and remove all other instances of the old static plugin.

And great you like the blog :-)

New Plugin: My Calendar

Keilaron am um :

Does the Calendar support recurring events? If so, then I don't care for CSV uploading ;) You may want to take a look at Sunbird if you want an example of a "simple" Calendar program: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird.html

Garvin am um :

No, the plugin doesn't yet support recurring events. Thanks for the reference to Sunbird, but I just can't get used to using any other calendar than my mobile phone :-D

Keilaron am um :

Well, you made it sound like you wanted a suggestion for a calendar program, so there you go =) They use the iCal format, a plaintext format that shouldn't be too hard to implement. Recurring events would be nice, though, especially if you implement the iCal format; for example: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/holidays.html

Either way, thanks =)
