XML-RPC and PHP 5.2.2
Garvin am um :
Hi Anonymous!
Thanks, in fact I didn't knew about this. :-) Guess I use the XML-RPC API too seldomly. ;-)
Anyways, I just committed the use of php://input into version 1.29 of the xmlrpc posting plugin.
Thanks for your help, Garvin

If possible, please go to the forums or the theme author's page for technical problems with themes - this blog is mostly about information and content, not technical support.
Have you tried downloading the ZIP from spartacus.s9y.org directly? Or tried to change the mirror from netmirror.org to sf.net? It seems as if file permissions on netmirror.org don't allow the download of some files. I've made some adjustments and in the next update this night, they should hopefully be fixed. Same with RoundedCorners.

Why are link to themselves bad? I actually enjoy that I can easily bookmark the header or reload a page by clicking on it (to view new comments)

Thanks for your detailed explanation!
IMHO it's more consistent to have the entry headline always link to the entry. Why make it a link on the overview page and not on the detail page, that would break consistency? If the headline is clickable at one time, I see no reason to not have it the other time.
The "homepage" link in s9y templates usually points to the real homepage, not the current article.
But I do feel your opinion on this, and it's good that s9y offers easy templating to change it like you want. I'd have no problems with more s9y themes being available to work in your proposed way of doing things, so maybe you'd like to contribute such an optimized template to the community?
Best regards, Garvin
Serendipity 1.1.1 released
Garvin am um :
We are currently still at pushing major parts of serendipity 1.2 (login routines) that will take time "until they're finished".
I can only say that you won't have a 1.2 final release in at least 2 months. A realistic schedule would be, sometime around May to June. :-)
Intermediate beta versions and snapshots will be delivered as usual, of course.

Only for a secondary test-install, I didn't mean to change the setup on your "live" site.
Usually logout problems like yours are cookie or server related, they might also happen when your cookies are mangled. Maybe if you purge your cookies from the browser and restart the browser, the 1.2 trouble might go away.
Please come to the forums (board.s9y.org) for a further discussion!
